Indigo Upcycling

Give new life to your old clothes in this hands-on Indigo Upcycling Workshop. Bring a piece from your wardrobe and transform it using natural indigo dye and traditional Japanese shibori techniques. You'll learn how to create your own indigo vat, explore the environmental impact of the textile industry, and experiment with folding and binding methods to make beautiful, one-of-a-kind patterns. This is a creative, sustainable way to reconnect with what you wear and reduce waste — no experience needed, just curiosity and something you'd like to make new again. Leave with a renewed garment, new skills, and a deeper understanding of slow fashion.
Please bring a piece of your own clothing that you would like to make new again.
